Experience the superbly documented and creatively executed story of a taboo romance in Auschwitz between a Jewish prisoner and her SS jailer. The couple reunited 30 years later… at his war crimes trial. The film will be introduced by Richard Schnurbach, President of the Montreal Holocaust Museum. Submitted to the 2021 Oscars and winner of the Best Picture Award in Doc Aviv, this movie also received the Gold Medal of The Student Academy Award in Los Angeles. In collaboration with the Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany, the Goethe Institute Montreal and the Montreal Holocaust Museum.
