Join the Montreal Holocaust Museum on April 13 at 7:00 pm to commemorate Yom Hashoah Vehagvurah, Holocaust and Heroism Remembrance Day. On this day and every day, we remember the victims of the Holocaust, honour the survivors, and learn the difficult lessons of the past.
This year’s Yom Hashoah commemoration will focus on the hope that emerged after the Holocaust devastated Jewish communities. This remarkable hope sustained survivors as they rebuilt their lives and looked toward the future. The program will include commemorative songs, survivor testimony, reflections from third- and fourth-generation descendants, candle lighting, and traditional prayers.
