Join us for a 2-hour walking tour on July 30th at 1pm EST in the heart of the Plateau to explore the experiences of child survivors who settled in Montreal in the aftermath of the Holocaust.
Led by museum staff, this walking tour will detail what it was like for these young survivors to arrive to a new country, build relationships, deal with adversity, search for joy, and attempt to rebuild their lives. Throughout the tour, participants will be able to listen to audio clips of survivors recounting their experiences as they made Montreal their new home.
On this tour we’ll explore the places that were part of the survivors’ lives when they arrived in the city, including institutions such as the YMHA, the Jewish Public Library, and the Herzl dispensary, as well as beloved clothing stores and restaurants.

- Start point: Rubenstein Water Fountain, corner of Mont-Royal and Park Avenue in Jeanne-Mance Park
- End point: The Bagg Street Shul (3919 Rue Clark)

The tour will be taking place every Thursday from July 30th to August 27th at 1:00 pm and tickets cost $12 for adults and $10 for students.
